This is taken into consideration by many people including the president of United States of America, George Bush. However, in my opinion, those armaments would only take the lives of millions of innocent peoples rather than solving the main issues through war.
It would only worsen the situation. Conflicts between countries could be settled in a cultured manner through peace talks through the United Nations UN rather than using brute force as I mentioned earlier.
Though this method would take time to resolve but it's the best way around to minimize deaths of innocent people through war. I would want everyone to have a peaceful and happier place to live in given the fact that our world has changed drastically and has become unstable over the years.
This is extremely important and significant as this would lead to the creation of new type of competent medicines that would be able to cure various diseases such as the Avian Bird Flu H5N1 , Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome AIDS , various types of cancers and Hand Foot and Mouth disease Coxsackievirus A16 which are incurable to date.
As the medical field frantically research, test and develop new medicines to counter the treat from new strains of diseases, the world today seems fragile. New and more resistant strains of diseases emerged through mutation due to indirect human activities creating imbalance to the natural environment that is now fragile. New diseases are now evolving and adapting to survive. It is a cycle of nature to maintain equilibrium and survival of the fittest prevails.
Furthermore, there is also the creation of new treatments like advance plastic surgery, laser treatment and microscopic surgery for certain sicknesses. These have also lead to the creation of artificial organs that are able to function normally like real ones. Artificial organ transplant which is able to help patients with malfunctioning organs such as kidney failure and patients with inflamed respiratory pathway who can only stay alive with the help of a large oxygen tank survive now.
It's the wonder of modern technology where humans play God. In addition to advances in the medical arena, I would also try to boost modern science and technology that would assist modern man in increasing quality and productivity in work.
The use of advance super computers and robots today has helped modern men tremendously in executing work continuously in a longer span of time without much downtime intervals unlike humans that needed rest. Ironically, super computers and modern machines still need humans or the human intuition to decide, drive and control them as machines and computers alike only execute work when data information are fed to them to perform the tasks involved.
I hope that in the near future, very sophisticated computers and robots would be developed that can think and decide when given some external factors that they can identify in their program registry of what to do. Prototype robots nowadays also lessen our work burden and making our lives more comfortable. All these have an effect on the world economy. From the laws of economic, as productivity of work increases, our economy stabilizes.
Besides that, if I could change the world, I would change it by doing something to stop crimes, because crimes destroy our world today causing disharmony and sorrows to victims. Look at the papers everyday, does one ever have a day of news without crimes? We had all sorts of crimes going on each day such as child abused, sexual harassment and massacre. It seems like violence has taken over our world and has become part of our daily lives that haunt us.
People no longer share their love and respect from others. What I would like to do is to educate people and create more job opportunities for the world through campaigns of job retraining on new skill sets so that these jobless people or some with no skill sets would be retrained and able to be employed again for their new skill sets. When this is done through cooperation with government of all countries, their people will be given a new lease of life again with an opportunity to earn a living after having gone through a retraining programme to help them to survive instead of committing crimes for easy money.
